Mark Buchanan … Pastor, Author and Speaker
Mark Buchanan leads New Life Community Baptist Church in Duncan, British Columbia, where he and his wife Cheryl and three children have lived since 1995.

Mark is the author of Your God is Too Safe, Things Unseen, The Holy Wild, The Rest of God, and Hidden in Plain Sight (Feb. 2007), as well as numerous articles. He is currently working with a coalition of community leaders in the area of First Nations outreach and reconciliation. His church is featured in Christianity Today's upcoming Christian Vision Project DVD (October, 2006).

Clifford Clarke
 Born during the Depression, Clifford lives in Mill Bay on Vancouver Island. Cliff is a well-known business man, restaurateur, and thespian. Paralleling his career as a business man, Cliff followed his love of stage and theatre. He was a devoted actor and singer, appearing in and directing many plays at Langham Court and McPherson Theatre.

‘Clifford; The Autobiography of Clifford Clarke’ follows Cliff’s life, his marriage to Barbara and the raising of their family; the tragic accident that changed the lives of the Clarke family and the years of healing.

 Carol Matthews … Writer and Consultant
 Carol Matthews is a writer and consultant who has worked as a hospital social worker, executive director of a family service organization, and as a college instructor and dean at Malaspina University-College (now Vancouver Island University), where she continues her involvement as an Honorary Research Associate and sessional instructor.

In 1999 she was awarded the Association of Community Colleges National Award for Excellence in Leadership. In 2008 she was awarded the first Honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Vancouver Island University. She has served on a number of local and provincial Boards of Directors and is currently a director of the Port Theatre and of Kids International Development Society (KIDS).
